Medium: green soapstone, unpolished face and neck, polished snakes Size of stone: 9½" high, 13½" long, x7½" wide
Total size with base: 14½" high, 13½ long

Written around three sides of base:
"Hairdo of snakes, her glance was known, In its wake to turn men into stone. / With her reflection in his shield, Perseus could safely wield / His sword to take Medusa's head Thus, her gaze no more to dread."
